Terms and Conditions: "Win R60,000 with Hatfield VW Braamfontein" Competition

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Hatfield VW Braamfontein, hereinafter referred to as "the Promoter."

2. Competition Period

The competition is open from 1 October 2024 to 31 December 2024.

3. Eligibility

This competition is open to all South African residents aged 18 years or older with a valid South African ID or passport.

Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, and any third-party companies involved in this competition are not eligible to participate.

4. How to Enter

To enter the competition, participants must:

Purchase a new or used vehicle from Hatfield VW Braamfontein during the competition period.

Each vehicle purchase counts as one entry into the competition.

5. Prize

One winner will receive a cash prize of R60,000.

The prize is non-transferable and will be paid directly to the winner via electronic funds transfer (EFT) within 14 working days of confirming their eligibility.

6. Winner Selection

Three finalists will be selected via random selection software from all eligible entries. This draw will take place on 17 January 2025 at Hatfield VW Braamfontein.

The three finalists will be invited to Hatfield VW Braamfontein for a final draw on 24 January 2025, where the winner will be drawn in a public setting.

Attendance at the final draw is mandatory for the finalists. If a finalist cannot attend, the next eligible participant will be invited to take their place.

The final draw will determine the winner in a transparent and fair manner.

7. Notification of Finalists

Finalists will be contacted telephonically and/or via WhatsApp within 48 hours of the initial draw.

If a finalist cannot be reached or fails to confirm attendance within 48 hours, they will forfeit their place, and another finalist will be selected.

8. Publicity

By entering the competition, participants consent to their name, photographs and videography being used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, free of charge.

9. Data Protection

The Promoter will process participants' personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Data will only be used for purposes related to this competition and will not be shared with third parties.

10. Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions, provides false information, or engages in fraudulent activity.

11. General

The Promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice. In such cases, participants will not be entitled to any claim against the Promoter.

The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participating in this competition or accepting the prize.

Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
