27 February 2026, Johannesburg - The Lepas L4 is a new premium compact SUV from Chery Group, available in South Africa from 3 March 2026. Styled with a bold, leopard-inspired design language, it targets tech-forward drivers who want premium finishes.

The brand promise ‘Drive your elegance’ reflects the L4’s positioning as a vehicle for drivers who see sophistication as a personal choice rather than a function of badge prestige. The SUV rides on the advanced LEX platform, with an overall length of 4 400mm and a 2 700mm wheelbase. Inside, a 13.2-inch portrait-oriented infotainment display running at 1440 x 1920 pixel resolution anchors a cabin equipped with wireless charging.

500 units of the Lepas L4 will be available at authorised dealerships at an attainable price, which will be revealed at the long-awaited launch. Lepas enters the South African market with the full backing of Chery's established dealer footprint, ensuring parts availability and service support.

Prospective buyers can visit their nearest authorised Lepas dealership from 3 March 2026 to test drive and purchase the L4, available in Boksburg, Bloemfontein, Brakenfell, Bruma,  Boksburg, Cape Town City, Clearwater, Centurion, George, East London, Gqeberha, Klerksdorp Lenasia, Pinetown, Pretoria, Milnerton, Midrand, Middelburg, Table Bay, Trichardt, Silver Lakes, Umhlanga and Vanderbijlpark.
